Simon Boccanegra

Legendary Verdians and longtime collaborators Plácido Domingo and James Levine reunite for this powerful drama, with Domingo once again taking on the baritone title role, several years after he first performed it at the Met, and Levine conducting the stirring score. They are joined by Lianna Haroutounian as Amelia/Maria, Boccanegra’s long-lost daughter, Joseph Calleja as Gabriele Adorno, her lover, and Ferruccio Furlanetto as Fiesco, Boccanegra’s erstwhile enemy and Amelia’s guardian.
