Met announces Week 53 schedule for Nightly Met Opera Streams

Week of viewers’ favorites chosen by opera fans worldwide

 Highlights include Philip Glass’s Akhnaten with Anthony Roth Costanzo, Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin with Renée Fleming and Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Handel’s Agrippina with Joyce DiDonato, and Donizetti’s Anna Bolena with Anna Netrebko

New York, NY (March 9, 2021)— The Met has announced a special viewers’ choice lineup for an upcoming week of its Nightly Met Opera Streams, the company’s ongoing series of encore Live in HD presentations and classic telecasts streamed on the its website during the coronavirus closure.

All Nightly Met Opera Streams begin at 7:30pm and remain available via metopera.org for 23 hours. The performances are also accessible on all Met Opera on Demand apps.
