The choreographer, Annie-B Parson, is looking for a diverse cast of 12 Female Presenting Dancers & 4 Female Presenting Covers.

Dancers should be trained in contemporary and postmodern techniques, like to invent material, and be very precise and quick learners. Moving scenery will be part of the dance score.

All ethnicities are strongly encouraged to apply.

In order to fulfill this engagement, you would need to be available for a workshop January 10-22, 2022, rehearsals beginning October 17, 2022, through the final dress scheduled for November 18, 2022, and as needed; and for performances scheduled for:

November 21, 25, 28. December 1, 4 matinee, 7, 10 matinee, 15.

You must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to enter The Metropolitan Opera building for this audition.  You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for an offer of employment.  The Metropolitan Opera will be a fully vaccinated house.

You must be an AGMA or AEA member and bring your VALID membership card with you.  Please also bring a photo resume with you to the audition.

Please enter the Metropolitan Opera House (Lincoln Center) through the Concourse doors into Founders’ Hall.  Auditions will be held in the dance studio, Studio C19.

Please be advised that sign in begins one hour before the start of the audition.  You must be in the sign in line no later than the start of the audition in order to be seen.
