This commemorative playlist celebrates the life and artistry of Jon Vickers, the extraordinary dramatic tenor whose passionate performances of some of the most demanding roles in opera thrilled Met audiences for 27 years. Vickers made his Met debut in 1960 as Canio in Pagliacci and went on to sing 280 performances of 17 roles with the company.
