Yannick Nézet-Séguin on Met Opera on Demand

An exciting new chapter of Met history begins when Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts the premiere of a new production of Verdi’s La Traviata on December 4—marking his first performance as the Met’s Jeanette Lerman-Neubauer Music Director.

Since his Met debut on New Year’s Eve in 2009 conducting mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča and tenor Roberto Alagna in the premiere of Sir Richard Eyre’s production of Bizet’s Carmen, Maestro Nézet-Séguin has led nearly 70 performances of nine different operas.

The ten performances below conducted by Nézet-Séguin are available to stream now on Met Opera on Demand, including five Live in HD presentations, four radio broadcasts, and the 2017 gala performance celebrating the Met’s 50th anniversary at Lincoln Center.
