L'Elisir d'Amore

Anna Netrebko is an ideal Adina, the wealthy young landowner at the center of Donizetti’s beloved comedy. She is surrounded by three men: Nemorino (Salvatore Cordella), the villager who loves her; Belcore (Nicola Alaimo), the pompous sergeant who wants to marry her on the spot; and Dulcamara (Erwin Schrott), the traveling quack who sells Nemorino the “elixir” of the title.
