Sondra Radvanovsky at the Met
One of today’s most captivating artists, soprano Sondra Radvanosky has been a Met regular for more than 25 years, beginning with her days in the company’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. Since then, she has grown into a full-blown star, thrilling audiences with her appearances as all three of Donizetti’s Tudor Queens, Amelia in Un Ballo in Maschera, Leonora in Il Trovatore, Elvira in Ernani, and the title characters of Tosca, Aida, and Norma. During the 2022–23 season she adds another formidable heroine to her already-impressive repertoire, taking on the title role of Medea when Cherubini’s mythic drama has its company premiere on Opening Night.
