    Ring in the New Year with Lehár’s enchanting operetta, seen in a new production by Broadway virtuoso director and choreographer Susan Stroman.  The great Renée Fleming stars as the beguiling femme fatale who captivates all Paris, and Andrew Davis conducts. The gala performance is followed by dinner and dancing on the Mercedes T. Bass Grand Tier.

    Anna Netrebko stars as the beautiful blind girl who experiences love for the first time in Tchaikovsky’s fairy tale Iolanta, the first opera in this intriguing double bill.  Nadja Michael is the unwitting victim of the diabolical Bluebeard, played by Mikhail Petrenko, in Bartók’s psychological thriller.  Both operas are directed by Mariusz Trelinski and conducted by Maestro Valery Gergiev. Cocktails and a gala dinner on the Mercedes T. Bass Grand Tier precede the performance.

    Opera’s most enduring tragic double bill returns in an evocative new production from Sir David McVicar.  Marcelo Álvarez rises to the challenge of playing the dual tenor roles of Turiddu in Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana and Canio in Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci, with Met Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi on the podium. Cocktails and a gala dinner on the Mercedes T. Bass Grand Tier precede the performance.

    The 2014–15 season opens with Music Director James Levine conducting a new production of Mozart’s eternal masterpiece, directed by Richard Eyre. Bass-baritone Ildar Abdrazakov, as Figaro, leads a dazzling cast that includes Marlis Petersen, Peter Mattei, Amanda Majeski, and Isabel Leonard.
