The Met’s Chandeliers Rise Again
Following a mechanical rejuvenation of the machinery responsible for raising and lowering the Met’s Lobmeyr crystal chandeliers, the iconic light fixtures will once again rise elegantly to the ceiling to signal the beginning of each performance.
