Joined the MET Orchestra: Unknown
David Langlitz was appointed Principal Trombone of the MET Orchestra at age 21. He received his degrees from The Juilliard School.
A former faculty member of the Manhattan School of Music and NYU, he has taught across Korea and China as the recipient of a Fulbright Lecturing Award. He is also a filmmaker with an MFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. His award-winning first film, Angel Passing, which he wrote and directed, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
